Modernizing Textual Reprography Services at Library and Archives Canada
"Library and Archives Canada has announced that it is modernizing its textual reprography services in order to meet growing client demand for digital copies. Therefore, as of November 15, 2010, LAC will now offer copies of various textual records in digital format. Phase one of this initiative focuses on public domain documents as well as government records and private records for which release of reproductions will be permitted according to legislative, contractual and institutional obligations. Subsequent phases of the digital reprography initiative will expand to include requests such as records released through Access to Information and Privacy legislation"
