"Anti-war protesters gathered on the SMU campus Monday, calling for former President George W. Bush to be arrested for war crimes. The rally was designed to coincide with festivities surrounding this week's groundbreaking for the former president's library being built on campus. In a protest organized by the Dallas Peace Center, two dozen demonstrators, including Lori Perdue of Indianapolis, gathered amid 175 pairs of worn Army boots near Ford Stadium at the southern tip of Southern Methodist University. The boots in the display, called "Eyes Wide Open," represented some of the service members killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Protesters say that Bush violated national and international laws by pursuing the wars and approving waterboarding as an interrogation technique" - Dallas Morning News
