ProQuest Information and Learning and NYTimes.com have announced an agreement to offer directly to the consumer market an historical digital archive of The New York Times newspaper dating back to 1851, when The Times was first published. The Archive will be available on NYTimes.com, the Web site of The New York Times, on a pay-per-view basis
