Edinburgh University Press to publish Journal of Beckett Studies from 2009

"The Journal of Beckett Studies will be published by Edinburgh University Press from 2009. The Journal of Beckett Studies has been the journal of record for the established and expanding field of Beckett studies for over thirty years. It was founded by Beckett's biographer James Knowlson, who also founded the Beckett archives at Reading University, and well-known Beckett critic John Pilling in 1976. Early in 2008 a new team of editors came together with a view to renewing the journal and moving it into the age of electronic publishing. The central commitment of the new group is to producing two high-quality issues each year from 2009, with co-ordination of the journal moving to the University of Western Sydney under the editorship of Associate Professor Anthony Uhlmann. JOBS publishes two issues a year, and forthcoming issues focus on Beckett and the Mind, and Beckett and Television"
