Quick Reads, the World Book Day 2006 campaign to target reluctant adult readers, has been announced. The Quick Reads campaign has been designed to tackle the problem of adult literacy and reach emergent readers. A series of titles by high-profile authors will be written for adults who read below the level expected of nine to 13-year-olds
