On the occasion of the anniversary of the secularization, the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek presents the exhibition Lebendiges Büchererbe. Säkularisation, Mediatisierung und die Bayerische Staatsbibliothek from 7 November 2003 to 30 January 2004. The exhibition focuses on the consequences of the upheavals of the year 1803 for the Bavarian libraries.
