Thomson Reuters develops profiles on hundreds of global institutions and research facilities
"Thomson Reuters has announced that it has collected data on hundreds of institutions and research facilities from around the world. The result is the Global Institutional Profiles Project, the most advanced data-driven view of globally significant universities and research institutions available. Incorporating scholarly outputs, citation patterns, funding levels, and faculty characteristics, data from the Global Institutional Profiles Project can be customized according to different user specifications, allowing universities and research organizations to analyze information for their own specific needs. Institutions will soon have the ability to access this one-of-a-kind resource that will reshape how administrators approach institutional comparisons"
