New annotation tool for British History Online

"British History Online is pleased to be able to launch a new annotation tool. Registered users will now be able to correct factual or transcription errors in the original calendars, add background, link to a corresponding resource or add a document transcription. User annotations - which will update, correct, and expand the calendars - will be visible to other readers. A free registration to the site is required. In the first instance, the annotation feature has been activated for the State Papers Colonial and the Journals of the Board of Trade and Plantation"
