Park and Read a novel idea for bus passengers

"Norwich Park and Ride passengers are being invited to 'sit back and enjoy the read' next week as part of an innovative Norfolk County Council (UK) scheme to encourage book borrowing and library use. From June 2, Airport Park and Ride customers will be able to borrow a book on board any of the buses, returning it to any Norfolk County Council Library at a later date. Each bus will carry about 30 or so books, with a mixture of fiction, non-fiction and children's books on offer to passengers to brighten their journey. The 'Park and Read' scheme, which runs throughout June, is a pilot project between Norfolk County Council and the New Writing Partnership"
