HarperCollins launches a digital video studio
HarperCollins Publishers has announced "the creation of an in-house internet broadcast studio. Modeled on a newsroom environment, the studio has been developed to create author videos for sales, marketing and promotional opportunities. The studio represents the next step in HarperCollins' ongoing digital efforts. The videos will be available on HarperCollins.com author and title pages, and the publicity and marketing teams will use the content to promote authors on blogs and Web sites, as well as to the media and to bookstores. The goal is to produce 500 videos annually"
