J.R.R. Tolkien: The Children of Hurin
"HarperCollins hopes to tap into a 15-million-strong UK fan base for Lord of the Rings as it publishes The Children of Hurin, the first complete book by J R R Tolkien since The Silmarillion was published in 1977. The book, published on 17 April as an 18.99 pounds hardback and a 60 pounds deluxe slipcased edition, has been put together from Tolkien's drafts by his son Christopher. It will feature eight paintings and 25 pencil sketches by Alan Lee, who illustrated editions of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings" - The Bookseller
