The Ordnance Survey maps, ranging from between 1896 and 1954, are available to view via an interactive browser which, while it might lack the shine and polish of a Google product, is easily navigable.
Southwark council has also published high-resolution scanned PDFs of maps from the 16th century onwards, including ancient parish boundaries and maps by such illustrious cartographers as John Rocque and Jacob de la Feuille
