More than a million tickets for an international festival celebrating William Shakespeare as "the world's playwright" will go on sale next month. Organizers of the World Shakespeare Festival said Tuesday it will include 70 productions and exhibitions involving thousands of international artists. Most of the events will take place in venues across Britain. Highlights include the staging of 37 of the Bard's plays, each in a different language by a different company from around the world, at London's Globe Theater. The program also includes a major new exhibition on Shakespeare and his era at the British Museum. The festival will run from April 23 to Sept. 9 next year. It is part of a larger arts and culture festival accompanying the London 2012 Olympics
