"The Saskatchewan Information & Library Services Consortium (SILS) purchased a technologically advanced integrated library system that will connect all public libraries throughout the province. Zenon Zuzak, director of libraries with Saskatoon Public Library, says it was time the library system moved on or at least made an upgrade. The Saskatoon Public Library's previous card system is "very old, so it's at a point where there are no more software enhancements and the maintenance on it was running out," said Zuzak. "Saskatchewan public libraries have been discussing for quite some time about bringing in a system that requires one card to take out materials from any public library in the province.""
