Bangalore University to digitise rare books (India)

"Bangalore University library will soon digitise all rare publications available. A decision was taken at a meeting of the BU library committee held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor N Prabhu Dev on Friday. All rare books, publications, theses and dissertations of the varsity would be digitalised. A scanning centre will be established in collaboration with Digital Library of India under the 'Million books digitalisation project' of Carnegie Mellon University of United States"
