A Buckinghamshire mobile library has scooped a top national award. The newest of the county council's library fleet, which powers itself with solar panels in the roof, was handed the delegates prize at the annual Mobilemeet in Suffolk. The Buckinghamshire Mobile is set up to serve rural communities, and features an awning and lighting and sound systems to enable promotional activities, and was designed specifically for BCC. It is the first time since 1993 the council has won the award. - Bucks Free Press
