National Book Award nominees announced

The finalists for the 2006 National Book Awards have been announced by the National Book Foundation. The finalists, chosen by four different panels of judges, were all published in the U.S. between Dec. 1, 2005 and November 30, 2006. The winner will be announced at a ceremony on November 15
