Thomson acquires ScholarOne

The Thomson Corporation has announced that its Scientific & Healthcare group has acquired privately-held ScholarOne, a workflow management system for scholarly publishers. ScholarOne provides subscription-based software for authoring, evaluating and publishing research to more than two million users. ScholarOne software enables publishers of scholarly research to produce journals, meeting abstracts and conference proceedings faster and easier.
