CILIP and the Library + information Show have announced that the prize money for the 2006 Libraries Change Lives Award will be increased by 3,000 pounds. Next year's winning project will receive 5,000 pounds – up from 4,000 pounds in 2005, and two other finalists will receive 2,000 pounds each – up from 1,000 pounds
