The Royal College of Nursing has launched the website for the first historical nursing journal online. The project, funded by the Wellcome Trust, provides access to one of the first nursing journals, Nursing Record, from 1888 to 1956. This journal captures the world of nurses and hospitals and is a wonderful source for many fields of research, including women's history, gender, class, ethnicity, culture and colonialism.
