Canadian Library Month 2012
The Canadian Library Association has announced that October is Canadian Library Month. Canadian Library Month provides an opportunity to celebrate libraries across Canada and the important contributions they make to Canadian life. This year's theme, Libraries Connect/Bibliothèques Branchées, is a great reminder of just how essential libraries are in the interconnected world in which we live. Libraries are at the centre of Canadian communities, providing a public space for people to meet, learn, connect and grow. From coast to coast to coast, libraries help direct the flow of information and resources. They are places of endless opportunity and provide Canadians with equitable access to library resources
