Blogging and tweeting at Umbrella 2009 (UK)

Professor Bruce Royan, Trustee, CILIP writes: "As befits the conference title 'Making Connections', live blogging and tweeting will be welcome during Umbrella, 14-15 July, unless a particular speaker objects. At the venue, the conference rooms and two exhibition halls are all Wi-Fi enabled, so there should be no problems in accessing the web to blog and tweet and stay in touch online. There is also free web access available in each exhibition hall via the Internet Cafes. Should individuals have a requirement to recharge their laptop batteries on-site arrangements will be possible via the registration desk or CILIP's corporate stand. If you are twittering, #cilipumbrella will bring all the tweets together"
