Manitobia: Life and Times

OCLC Canada recently worked with the Manitoba Library Consortium to digitize over 122,000 pages of historically significant newspapers and other content including an atlas, books and historic maps to make them freely accessible on the World Wide Web. This digitization effort is part of the Manitobia: Life and Times project. "Manitobia" was coined by combining Manitoba, the keystone province located in the heart of Canada, with Utopia, signifying an ideal place-the new term meaning a perfect place to find information about Manitoba
