Boston Public Library adds download stations for audiobooks and music
Patrons and special visitors to the Boston Public Central Library at Copley Square have a new service that enables them to borrow audiobooks and music without making a stop at the check-out desk. Rather than selecting audio CDs or tapes, they can plug in an MP3/WMA player to an Internet-connected PC in the library to download spoken-word novels and classical music. The catalog includes titles from award-winning narrators from Brilliance Audio, Blackstone Audiobooks, HarperAudio, Time Warner Audiobooks, BBC Audiobooks and many others
