Library in box sprouts from Ballwin lawn (USA)

Library in box sprouts from Ballwin lawn (USA)A miniature red school house perched on a pole in Shannon Menard's front yard has turned the page toward encouraging reading in her Spring Glen neighborhood in Ballwin, MO. Anyone can walk into her yard on Treetop Village Drive, open the door of the school house and take a book home. When they are finished, they can bring that book or a different book back. All at no charge. Since May, Menard has been a Little Free Library steward, and the red school house is her library. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that began in Wisconsin and has been encouraging reading worldwide. Anyone can get a Little Free Library sign to become a steward and put a library up anywhere. A $25 donation gets you listed on the group's website
