JISC Podcast: Work Related Learning
"Work-related learning is increasing its importance in the curriculum landscape. There is evidence that it helps students relate their learning to their current and future working lives. While also offering employers an opportunity to contribute directly to education and training. Work-related learning is involved in a wide range of activities. These include developing awareness of the local and broader economy, seeing connections between the national curriculum and other topics, careers education and learning about the world of work.
